Overview
Diagnostic Faults from Remote Diagnostics are currently available in a PSSM Case at the case level.
We are now introducing the ability to map the specific Faults to an operation while in the Edit Operation screen. This functionality will be present only when Faults are present at the case level.
There are several use cases and benefits to completing the mapping:
Use Cases:
- A service advisor can map the Faults to an operation at the time of case creation as an aid for the technician, or as a reference for other service advisors
- A technician can map the Faults to an operation after the repair is complete, indicating the Faults that this repair has fixed
Benefits:
- Service Advisors will be in a position to explain the Faults that are being addressed by the specific repair
- Shared history will be updated with the mapped Faults which can aid in future repairs, as well as provide more detail into previous repairs
