Overview
The integration between Decisiv SRM and Diesel Explorer (DXP) allows providers to plug into a vehicle, retrieve active diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and automatically create or update cases in Decisiv. Diagnostic data flows directly from Diesel Explorer into the Decisiv platform, reducing manual entry and improving accuracy.
Key Benefits
- Automated Data Entry: Scan results—including VIN, mileage, and fault codes—are automatically populated into a Decisiv Case.
- Faster Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform a vehicle scan to start or update a case with diagnostic data immediately.
- Improved Accuracy: Ensure service records include complete telemetry and fault code details.
- Enhanced Productivity: Reduce administrative steps to allow technicians to focus on repairs.
- Seamless Integration: Works within existing Decisiv workflows with minimal setup.
How It Works
Using Diesel Explorer, technicians can perform a diagnostic scan on a vehicle. Once the scan is complete, Diesel Explorer automatically sends the data to Decisiv SRM, where it is used to create a new case or update an existing one.
Automated Case Creation
Diesel Explorer collects key vehicle information and sends it directly to Decisiv, including:
- VIN
- Mileage
- Fault codes
Telemetry data
Scan to Case:
- Perform a vehicle scan in Diesel Explorer
- Retrieved fault codes and system data are transmitted to Decisiv
- Decisiv automatically creates a new case or updates an existing case.
- Diagnostic data appears in the case record for service writers and technicians.
