For the Case V8.20.0 Release, targeted for September 12th, we're planning the following improvements.

• Enhancements: 

  • Job Role for Case Notes - In the Notes section of the Editing Case screen, sender information will now include Job Role.
  • Vendor Creation Auth Processing - When a Fleet or Broker creates a new Vendor in the system, it will now automatically initiate the user authentication process.
  • Asset Type - We're updating our messaging to help users better understand and complete the Asset Type field within asset information.

• Fixes:

  • Technician Permissions - Users with Technician permissions will not have the ability to approve, defer, or decline operations on behalf of the customer (expected to be released as a patch as soon as possible)

  • New Operations Table User Interface - launch scheduled for September 22nd, 2025

Job Role for Case Notes:

In the Notes section of the Editing Case screen, sender information will now include the Job Role of the individual who added the note. This enhancement improves clarity and accountability by providing more context about the note contributor’s position.

Vendor Creation Auth Processing:

When a Fleet or Broker creates a new Vendor in the system, it will now automatically initiate the user authentication process for the associated Vendor user. This update streamlines onboarding and ensures that all Vendor users are properly verified before gaining access.

Asset Type Messaging: 

We're updating our messaging to help users better understand and complete the Asset Type field within asset information.

We're excited to announce the launch of our new estimate creation UI. The new feature set drastically improves usability in terms of searching, adding, and editing line item operations.

Additionally, you'll have the ability to approve estimates and share estimates on behalf of customers.
