CDK – Operation Sales Override Tag & Sales Amount

Overview

An update has been made to the CDK export behavior for Fixed Price labor operations. When exporting operations from Service Platform (SP) to CDK DMS, the system now uses the Fixed Labor Total Price setting to determine whether a sales override is applied and what labor amount is sent to CDK.

This applies to Service Providers with an active CDK DMS integration.

What’s Changed

When exporting Fixed Price operations to CDK, the labor amount sent is now based on the Fixed Labor Total Price in the operation’s Price Info.

Previously, this value was derived from Operation Pricing Fixed.

How It Works

Fixed Labor Total Price Enabled

When Fixed Labor Total Price is enabled (checked) in Price Info:

• A sales override is applied during export.

• The labor total price is sent to CDK as the sale amount.

Fixed Labor Total Price Disabled

When Fixed Labor Total Price is not enabled (unchecked):

• No sales override is applied during export.

• The labor amount is calculated by CDK using standard labor type rules.

Exporting to CDK

Once the operation is configured, export the repair order as usual.

Why This Matters

This update ensures that CDK receives accurate labor pricing for Fixed Price operations, reducing pricing discrepancies and ensuring consistency between Service Platform and CDK.
