Configure Sales Tax

Users with admin permissions can update the following tax types within their location's platform from the Edit Sales Tax Screen:

• Parts
• Labor
• Fixed Price Operations
• Shop Supplies
• Hazardous Waste
• Freight Taxes
• Mileage From
• Mileage To
• Miscellaneous

NOTE: Any tax updates made on the Edit Sales Tax Screen will only be applied to estimates created after the tax update is saved. Existing estimates will not be changed.

To enter or update sales tax:

1. From the menu bar, click Admin, then click Customize Your Database.
2. From the Dealership Profile section, click Sales Tax.
3. On the Edit Sales Tax screen, enter the sales tax information for the appropriate categories.
4. To save your changes, click Save Changes.
