Saving Reports

Admin users can save reports to personal folders or, when collaborating with others, to public folders. Insite v2.0 has standard reports; some users also have custom reports.  To ensure your changes do not alter reports for all users, Admin users must save their reports in their personal or location folders.

Understanding the File Directory

After you click Save As the file repository modal opens. All of the folders are in grayed-out, however, you may click the folders to locate places where you have file save permissions.

Admin users can save files in the Home folder. If you have access to multiple depots the folders for those depots are located under the Home folder.

No Save Permissions

When you locate a folder where you can save, the Save button activates. In the following image the user has a home and depot folders.

1. To save reports for personal use, save the report in your Home folder.
2. To save a report for a specific depot, save the report in the appropriate depot folder.
